About you

We are seeking a skilled, passionate and experienced Cloud Security Specialist to ensure security and resilience of our cloud-based infrastructure and services. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect secure cloud environments, perform security assessments, implement security controls and provide guidance on cloud security best practices.

Experience and Qualifications

• Extensive expertise in Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud security technologies and products.
• 
  
• Our ideal candidate should have proven experience creating and implementing complex security architectures in a multi-cloud hybrid cloud landscape using a secure landing zone concept.
• 
  
• Good understanding of the modern threat landscape and the role cloud security architecture plays in thwarting attacks and mitigating risks
• 
  
• Certifications in Azure security and AWS Security will be an added advantage.
• 
  
• Experience integrating cloud platforms and cloud-hosted applications with IAM solutions
• 
  
• Proven experience within a highly federated organization context, including knowledge of data privacy and compliance impacts
• 
  
• Proven relationship management experience, proactively leading conversations with stakeholders to gather their needs and inputs
• 
  
• Experience modelling cloud security concepts using architecture tools

Key responsibilities

• Review secure landing zone architecture and implementations in Inter IKEA’s public cloud platforms and identify gaps by assessing frameworks, policies, standards and best practices.
• 
  
• Define and describe an improved / revised target architecture that enables solution / product owners to comply with Inter-IKEA’s digital risk control framework more quickly and easily by onboarding to the secure-landing-zone where required controls are implemented by default to unburden such teams from needing to “reinvent the wheel”.
• 
  
• Translate the target architecture into an implementation roadmap, prioritized based on mitigation value, degree of difficulty, effort and cost
• 
  
• Communicate and support the adoption of cloud security architectures across Inter IKEA and the extended enterprise
• 
  
• Work with solution architects to provide framing and direction and assess content to ensure enterprise cloud security architecture fit
• 
  
• Collaborate with cloud platform and application engineering teams to define and implement security guard-rails for preventing security misconfigurations and policy violations
• 
  
• Assess cloud security posture compliance against Inter-IKEA security standards and guidelines and provide remediation guidance to cloud platform and DevOps teams
• 
  
• Evaluate cloud-native security offerings from public cloud providers and provide recommendations on their capability fit for Inter-IKEA security operations
• 
  
• Deploy and configure security logging and monitoring controls in cloud-based services and assist Inter-IKEA Security Operations Center in on-boarding new log-sources for threat detection
• 
  
• Contribute to the development and execution of incident response playbooks for cloud-based services

This role is full-time and based in Delft or Malmo. In this role, you will report to Marcel Schlebusch, Team manager, Security Operations and Incident Response.
