Veolia Water Technologies Sweden consists of two business units, AnoxKaldnes (Lund) and Hydrotech (Vellinge), with a total of approximately 115 employees.

You will report to Veolia Water Technologies CFO, located in France and be a confident sparring partner to Jacob Bruus, CEO for Veolia Water Technologies Sweden. As part of the managment team you will also have a close collaboration with the managment teams for AnoxKaldnes and Hydrotech.

As CFO you have a key role...

with overall responsibility for the company's financial statements, annual reports, budgeting and forecasting.

As part of the role you will lead the finance team, based in Lund, which will also be your main location. You and the team support both AnoxKaldnes in Lund and Hydrotech in Vellinge, which involves spending some time at the Vellinge site as well.

Your mission is broad and includes many important tasks such as:

  • Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

  • Ensure compliance with Swedish accounting regulations and standards

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and profitability

  • Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making

  • Manage cash flow, risk management, and financial controls

  • Lead the finance team and provide guidance and mentorship to team members

  • Build strong relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities

You are an analytical doer...

with a keen interest in a company's financial health and development and with extensive and solid experience within management and finance. You are a curious and communicative team player who stays updated on the latest legislation and issues pertaining to your field.

Personally, you enjoy working in a dynamic environment and easily adapt to changes. As a person, you bring a solution-oriented attitude and a genuine interest in people and leadership, hence enabling the team members’ growth.

Additional requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar senior finance role

  • Strong knowledge of Swedish accounting regulations and standards

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficient in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Fluency in Swedish and English
