Job Description

As an Operations Manager you will be leading the development and operations of the preconditions needed to strategize, design, develop and operate a strong business offer founded by technology, process and data. In addition, you will be leading innovation, development and operations of digital products and technology foundation for co-workers.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Orchestrate, manage, prioritise and follow-up on IKEA Älmhult AB business plan and roadmap.

· Drive informed decision-making for business growth and customer satisfaction.

· Develop and manage processes and capabilities aligned with IKEA framework.

· Empower IKEA coworkers with digital expertise and digital products to enable an Älmhultish experience.

· Enable a common technology foundation for IKEA Älmhult AB to run as a business unit with a priority to utilize shared IKEA technology and infrastructure capabilities.

· Responsibility for leading and developing the Operations team, creating preconditions to perform and deliver as well as learn and develop. 

· Responsibility for succession planning in the Operations function.

· Responsibility for a safe & healthy work environment for your co-workers.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who has good ability and knowledge about digital development and how to develop and operate a technology landscape meeting the needs of the business. You are having sound knowledge of budget responsibility and a thorough understanding of profit and loss and the key performance indicators we use to plan, follow up and steer the IKEA business. You are having knowledge and experience of change management and Swedish labour law and relevant regulations.

Furthermore, you have:

· Desire to find new business opportunities and make it happen through own work and engaging and motivating others.

· Strong business drive and result-orientation, both short- and long term.

· Ability to lead in the unknown and in change.

· Desire to continuously find new solutions challenging common ways of working.

· Strong ability to build trustful relationships at all levels of the organization and possess the desire to learn from others.

· Ability to improve and simplify current ways of working and solving problems and dilemmas in line with IKEA key values.

· The urge to continually challenging our existing capabilities to improve and develop new and even better solutions for the future.

· Knowledge of engineering, quality, material, range, and product requirements.

You have University degree in a relevant field preferable in engineering or business. Experience from leading an organization with a tactical and strategic leadership. Experience from digital development and operations of a technology foundation. Experience from leading development and implementation of strategies and roadmaps.
