About the position You will be part of a team with close collaboration and with a strong passion to problem solve and to collaborate over departments to succeed in the daily work. You will in this role: • Optimize production scheduling and daily create production orders relative to shelf life, machine- and materials restrictions as well as customer need. • Incorporate new products or product improvements into the production plan • Work to resolve material shortages and backlogs • Work to optimize inventory of finished goods inventory, intermediates and raw materials • Proactively collaborate with departments such as failure investigation, manufacturing, logistics and quality. • Take an active role in operational daily meetings • Provide analyses and assess options to highlight issues and propose solutions • Be an enthusiastic and friendly team player who can motivate colleagues and contribute to shared objectives Your profile To succeed in this position, we believe you have a Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with 2+ years of related work experience, preferably within planning (supply-, production-, procurement-, demand-), logistics or similar. We like to see this paired with: • Very comfortable and used to work in Microsoft Excel • Strong ERP knowledge, experience of SAP is an advantage • Proven track record of paying attention to details and being meticulous in the daily operational work • Team player • Proficient in English.
