Engineering Digital - let’s introduce ourselves In the Engineering Digital (ED) Unit, we support Engineering (R&D) with IT capabilities needed throughout the whole car development process. A part of our mission is to provide optimized license usage in an effective way with best-in-class digital solutions and support to ensure an efficient product development. What you’ll do We seek to strengthen our License Hub product with a Software Engineer/License specialist to assist our R&D users working with bought COTS-applications. The License Hub product has its base within the Product engineering domains and manages a variety of applications supporting the business in the change journey to become a Software driven company. The product covers all aspects of application management and thus maintain responsibilities within infra operation, support, packaging, installation, with extra focus on license management and contract negotiations.  As self-development is one of our core competencies, you are also responsible for providing a learning culture where our employees grasp and get the opportunity to grow with the business. What you’ll bring We believe that good engineers can switch and learn new domains and technologies, but to be a great match for our team we believe you possess the following skills: •    You have a basic understanding of the Product Engineering domain. •    You have very good experience in license management and different licensing technologies. o    Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of software licenses, versions, and deployments throughout the organization. o    Ensure adherence to software licensing agreements, monitor license usage, and take necessary measures to address any non-compliance issues. o    Analyze software usage patterns, identify opportunities for optimization, and implement strategies to optimize license allocation and reduce costs (ex: co-terming agreements). •    You have knowledge working with application support and incident management. •    You have experience in facilitating collaboration between teams and management with agile development methodologies.  You also have: •    Advanced English communication skills. •    Experience working with highly visible projects in an international environment. •    Experience facilitating workshops. •    Experience working with analytics, understanding the data and what gaps require actions.
