You will be part of the Safety, Quality & Regulations management team and report directly to VP Safety, Quality & Regulations. In the technology shift towards Electric propulsion new challenges arise.  The Director Safety & Cyber Security holds a challenging senior position with the responsibility of ensuring that Volvo’s position as a leader in safety, established since the beginning, remains strong for the future. Your deep understanding of Safety and Cyber Security, preferably in the automotive industry, and proficiency in compliance, regulations, and documentation, coupled with your ability to take action, will enable you to successfully lead your team and elevate the Safety, Quality & Regulations department in Electromobility to the next level. We believe that you have a personal drive and deep passion for this field, as well as a desire to always push the boundaries for what is possible, to improve the safety and security of products and how they are used.  What to bring: •Extensive experience within the field of Safety and Cyber Security in the Automotive industry is a requirement.  •Deep knowledge of both current standards and upcoming standards is a must. •Former experience in a line managerial role preferably within automotive industry (leading people or leading leader level) •Demonstrated ability to balance a strategic, holistic end-to-end (E2E) view with operational considerations. •Engineering education, preferably a MSc.
