We are now looking for a

Lead engineer, Wallsaws and Powerpacks to Husqvarna Construction in Gothenburg

We seek an experienced engineer to assume the role of a leader for the technical solution in our projects within wallsaws, powerpacks, and wiresaws. Your expertise in effective project leadership, passion for technology and ability to facilitate optimal performance from team members will be crucial to achieving the best results throughout our projects.

As a Lead Engineer

…you will lead development work within R&D for wallsaws, powerpacks, and wiresaws and be responsible for the technical solution within new development projects.

Your key responsibilities:

· Take overall responsibility for development delivery in projects and be involved in all subsystems.

· Coordinate and drive various teams and ensure their deliveries.

· Be responsible for product safety, conduct risk analysis work, and understand product standards.

· Take primary responsibility for product specifications.

· Manage project timelines and costs for the R&D deliveries.

· Foster collaboration with other departments in the project, such as product management, procurement, project management, design, marketing, service, manufacturing, and compliance.

· Ensure that the delivered product meets customer expectations in terms of performance, durability and ergonomics.

Who are you?

We see that you have a structured and inclusive leadership approach. Your extensive experience in similar roles lends solidity to your leadership style, you thrive on collaborative teamwork and strive to deliver according to set targets. You are open-minded and eager to learn new things.

We also think you have:

· a university degree in mechatronic or other relevant field

· good understanding of design work within mechanics, electricity and electronics.

You have great communication skills and are of course fluent in English.

Location

Jonsered, just outside of Gohtenburg. Within Husqvarna, we apply a hybrid work model.
