V M&A and Partnerships is now recruiting a highly skilled professional to manage and lead end-to-end M&A transactions, from sourcing to signing, and develop the team’s M&A capabilities. Your responsibilities as M&A Director: * Drive M&A deal sourcing and deal structuring in defined opportunity areas. * Manage and project lead end-to-end M&A projects and similar activities. * Own target valuations and steer deal negotiations. * Develop team capabilities in fields of conducting due diligence, measuring value and managing valuations. * Develop tools, processes and frameworks for efficient ways of working with M&A transactions. * Prepare decision materials for Group Management and the Volvo Group Board. Who are you? You have a Master´s degree and/or an MBA in relevant financial field(s) and a solid experience of working on M&A transactions or similar in a global, multicultural company and environment. Relevant backgrounds include Investment Banking, M&A Advisory or Private Equity or similar. Required experience and knowledge: * Experience from executing successful M&A projects. * Experience from developing M&A pipeline in target areas. * Experience from managing and developing junior team members. * Strong background in managing due diligence, valuation and negotiations. Required technical and functional skills: * Ability to take strategy into action. * Proven negotiation skills. * Effective in preparing and presenting impactful decision materials. * Ability to efficiently lead and coach colleagues, as a project leader and manager. * Effective in interacting and negotiating with complex stakeholder groups. Effective in leading external advisors.
