The role As a Feature Leader within Charging, you will be a key person in ensuring that Volvo can offer a world leading charging experience. This is done in cooperation with colleagues within the electromobility teams and in close collaboration with other departments within Volvo Group Trucks Technology and Business Areas.  As a leader you consolidate expectations and provide requirements input to enable our engineers to design a charging system with excellent performance when it comes to charging time, efficiency, and reliability. You do this with confidence being in constant interaction with key stakeholders and benchmarking market evolution. When needed, you will initiate, and sometimes drive, studies needed to improve Volvo’s Charging performance. You are expected to provide input on how to verify our Charging solutions in cooperation and in alignment with concerned functions. The expectation is also that you will be able to give hands-on advice when our customers need support. In short, you will be one of Volvo’s main go-to persons when it comes to our current and future Charging performance!  We are looking for you... …that likes to work both with our technical experts and customers. An important part of the job is sharing information in a clear and comprehensive way, and you enjoy interacting with many stakeholders at the same time. It is important that you have the ability to deep-dive into a multitude of technical areas within electromobility since charging performance is influenced by many different components and SW functions. You also enjoy refining data from simulations, verification, and customer vehicles. To be successful in this position you need to have a technical knowledge of electromobility products, systems, and components. Experience of verification of electromobility systems and/or components, system design and/or electronic platforms will also be seen as a plus. Experience in heavy duty vehicle applications and vehicle integration is meriting. Project management experience and a good knowledge of industrialization processes from big R&D organizations will benefit you in your daily work. Requirements •    M.Sc. degree in Computer science, Electrical & Electronics, Mechatronics engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Physics. •    At least 10 years of experience of product development within electromobility, and preferably with charging systems.  •    Practical experience from automotive development processes.  •    Fluent in English, verbal and written. •    Commercial driving license (C/CE for heavy-duty trucks or D for bus) is meriting.
