Coaching leader responsible for cost follow-up for Scania vehicles

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses, and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Do you find it interesting to work with the big picture but at the same time understand the details? Do you want the opportunity to both lead and follow the work within the cost monitoring process for Scania's vehicles, from overall strategies to make it work in practice? EMV (Vehicle Cost) is part of EM, Modular Solutions. EMV is responsible for following up and supporting all IMTs/Tables in developing and maintaining existing products and running agreed cost rationalization projects. Our main systems for this are FRAS and our Power BI as well as our process. The PCO approach has been integrated as a natural part of Scania's product development process. We work cross-functional with all parts of the company and train employees when needed. The role places great demands on taking initiative and pursuing issues, you will also be a valuable member of our PCO (Product Cost Optimisation) Team.

Your Mission

Your main task will be to lead and support knowledgeable and committed employees around Scania in the work with cost follow-up. You are a leader with a coaching approach to our cross-functional PCO teams.

In your role, you will work with the development and maintenance of our methods, tools, and training. This means that you will have a wide network of contacts throughout Scania and Traton.

You will also train and coach the business in our processes, methods, and tools. You will participate in and develop working methods for the idea generation of cost rationalization projects.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in leadership and who can motivate and inspire others in their daily work.

  • You have a degree from a university, college or equivalent.
  • You have previous experience of leading others.
  • You are a positive, creative, structured, and humble person with a leadership profile.
  • You are a communicative team player with the ability to go from detail to a holistic view.
  • You are curious about how your field affects the whole and want to achieve results through others.
  • You have the ability to adapt communication and messages depending on the audience.
  • Your leadership is clear and you can work both operationally and strategically.
  • You like to take initiative.
  • You possess a good ability to create and maintain relationships.
  • Previous broad Scania experience is an advantage
  • You are fluent in both Swedish and English.
