Developer Experience is about providing expertise, tools, and platforms to developers and driving a culture shift in order to foster a culture of innovation. We target all aspects of software development – including project management, engineering culture, quality and platform engineering.

What is the job about?

In this position, you’re responsible for shaping the Developer Experience capability by fostering its growth and efficiency. With a focus on the delivery of common developer tools, including GitHub and organizing knowledge sharing sessions, you identify and address the needs and pain points of the Developer Persona. Additionally, you play a key role in the engineering team in order to increase maturity in development processes and tools contributing to developer productivity, satisfaction, and operational impact.

You work with the Head of Engineering to develop IP, process, and tools – improving the quality and efficiency of delivery. By leveraging hands-on experience to ensure a high degree of confidence in our ability to deliver, you work closely with the business areas development teams to provide support as required.

The location for this position is Gasverket in Stockholm and we apply a hybrid work set-up where you can combine office work with work from another location.

About you

We’re looking for someone with a demonstrated track record in a developer experience role, including some team leadership experience. You’re skilled in creating and presenting complex PowerPoint presentations to senior management, making them understand what needs to be done, including costs and benefits to be achieved.

To further succeed in this role, you need:

• Experience of working in a product-led organization.
• Experience of advising and/or assisting large organizations on how to use developer experience to meet business needs or overcome problems.
• Strong and current knowledge of Cloud solutions, developer tools, and agile ways of working in a product-led setup.
• It’s desirable to have experience of delivering cloud solutions through the project lifecycle – from initiation, through design, build and deployment into production.

You’re an outgoing, articulate, and passionate person with the ability to analyze large amounts of information to synthesize and understand core requirements and themes. You communicate effectively with a range of customers and stakeholders at all levels, analyze large amounts of complex information, understand and articulate customer needs and issues, and create solutions to meet requirements and address issues.
