Combining digital technologies and innovative services, we are committed to offering the most personal solutions in mobility. Since Volvo Cars is pushing the boundaries within electrification, design, safety, sustainability, and more, this necessitates continuous homologation and certification of our products to enable the release of new and updated technology to our customers What you'll do Getting the best by combining work on launches at R&D with our markets all over the world, at Homologation Integration, our task is to prepare for and manage compliance for all Volvo vehicles. As a Vehicle Homologation leader, you begin preparing the compliance process two to three years ahead of the production start.You will work closely with R&D, Project Management, and the rest of Product Regulations and Compliance (PRC), where you lead and coordinate activities within PRC. Your focus is to optimize certification activities for a program (or programs) to cover all certification needs for different markets, new technologies, and technology updates. You will join our VHL team.  Organizationally, you will join 58820 Homologation Integration, which, besides VHLs, also organizes our Market Compliance Managers. What you'll bring To thrive in this role, we believe you have versatile vehicle knowledge on a complete vehicle level, a solid educational background and aspired personality skills - You are social, diplomatic, and can adopt to different situations in an effective way with focus on turning negative to positive all with the strive to deliver on committed tasks. Project management experience and know-how of R&D development is crucial. And if you add some regulatory experience, we think you could be the perfect fit for us. We are seeking someone with:  •    Communication skills •    Project manager skills •    M.Sc. / B.Sc. in engineering or several years of relevant work experience •    Fluency in English, spoken and written. •    Regulatory experience (preferable) But above all, you are a purpose-driven person who understand that we do this together and try to have fun along the way!
