Our other offices in Denmark, Germany or Norway remote could be an option. About the Role As the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) at IST, you will play the leading role in ensuring the organization’s adherence to standards, governance, and regulatory requirements. Your primary focus will be on quality, information security, privacy, and sustainability. Managing internal and external audits is part of your recurring assignments as well as investigating regulatory and compliance issues. You create structure by creating and updating policies and processes, helping staff to succeed in their work. Awareness trainings within risk management and other compliance areas also contributes to raising staff knowledge. You are the hub of the compliance work within our organisation, reporting to senior management and working together with other relevant departments. As IST operates in several countries, you will collaborate with all parties involved in a specific field. About You We’re seeking an experienced and dynamic professional who thrive in an environment where compliance is not just a requirement but a fundamental part of organizational success. You have a strong understanding of compliance frameworks, standards and legal obligations, which you effectively communicate to various stakeholders. You are a person of integrity and strong willed, who can work independently as well as with others. Structured, communicative (in English) with ability to look into details and the bigger picture are valued qualities for this role, together with a pedagogical touch. Staying updated with the latest news within information security, privacy and sustainability regulations and standards comes natural to you. Competence and Experience: As a Compliance Manager you have expert level experience from similar roles with managing legal & customer requirements, as well as documenting and follow-up on procedures. You are familiar with the ISO Standards 27000 series and 9001 and have practical experience with implementing and auditing controls and processes. Your profile preferably includes: - Experience within GDPR and ISO-standards of 9001, 14001 and ISO-27001 - Experience of managing internal/external audits - preferably in a complex organisation - You have experience of Privacy incidents handling and business continuity management - Several years working within the IT business - Legal/judiciary background or similar experience within relevant fields Apply If this sounds like the right challenge for you, make sure to apply as soon as possible at https://career.ist.com/.
