We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, flexible and curious Senior Project Engineer to strengthen our engineering team at Grid Automation Sweden. The unit is specialized in the control & protection area of substation automation projects. As a project engineer, you will be responsible for the successful execution of the control & protection scope of our substation automation projects, mainly focusing on the hardware design. You will be working closely together with the project team and the customer in successfully delivering those projects. Depending on the size of the project, you will technically lead a small team of engineers, based in our global engineering centers in India and/or Czech Republic, that support you in delivering the project on time and with the highest quality.

In addition, you will be part of a large world-class engineering community within our Hub Europe organization, surrounded by colleagues with many years of expertise and knowhow on executing large and complex substation automation projects globally. Your responsibilities:

• You will be involved in developing protection and control concepts for sub-transmission systems in close collaboration with the customer along with the project core team.
• You will be responsible for the hardware design of the bay level cubicles within the substation.
• Collaborating with project execution with our teams in the operating centers (OPC’s).
• Open-minded team player that looks for opportunities instead of problems and has high standards towards safety, quality, customer focus, and efficiency.
• You will openly share ideas and lessons learned with colleagues and curiously seeks improvements.

Your background:

• You hold bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• You have more than 5 year’s experiences from electrical design of Transmission and Distribution projects.
• Structured and pro-active engineering approach, with a high commitment towards maintaining project budget and project plan.
• You have advanced experiences in CAD tools, preferred EPC and meritorious with E3.
• Proficiency in English and Swedish language is preferred.
