We are seeking a dynamic and experienced R&D Quality Program Manager to join our team. As an integral part of our global HVDC Technology and solution development team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards for our innovative solutions. Your responsibilities

  • Lead R&D program on Quality
  • Continuously create backlog by cross functional inputs from R&D, manufacturing, commissioning and service division
  • Define specific targets, roadmap and initiatives and implement a quality strategy and set business goals for HVDC, together with R&D portfolio manager
  • Build communication strategy and change management to secure progress
  • Promote and raise awareness of technology, as well as develop capabilities and competencies at all levels of the organization, to address the impact of quality, fostering a culture of continual development
  • Build collaborative partnerships with multiple internal and external stakeholders such as suppliers to proactively address quality issue
  • Promote Hitachi energy HVDC as a high-quality brand in customers and stakeholder forums

Your background

  • University degree (Masters or PhD) in electrical/mechanical/manufacturing engineering or material science
  • Strong expertise in data analysis/statistical methods and reliability engineering, a Six Sigma black belt is a merit
  • R&D project/program management experience is required
  • Demonstrated skills for details and passion for quality
  • Ability to think strategically, understand the big picture and adjust communication to diverse audiences.
