Job Description

The Competence Hub Test team leads the capability of testing with methods and tools across Inter IKEA. We enable teams with knowledge, best practices and technical support needed to implement application testing in an impactful manner.

You will work both on strategy but will also be expected to contribute on hands-on assignments.

We are now looking for our next team member who will help drive the testing and quality initiatives across Inter IKEA.

As a Test Leader you are responsible for IKEA verification and validation activities within the assigned area; including managing the test team, planning and controlling the acceptance test effort, and evaluating and reporting the result. You also make sure that the IT service and project releases are delivered with high quality by steer, measure and follow up on KPI’s to verify that stated acceptance criteria and quality goals are fulfilled.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who has the ability to take on leadership in an independent and inclusive manner whilst you can build trustful relationships and networks with people across IKEA but also externally. We also see that you have the ability to see the big picture, trends and like solving problems in an efficient and trustful way.

You also have:

  • The ability to co-operate and coordinate activities across processes, Solution management areas and IT suppliers.
  • Experience or knowledge around Agile ways of working
  • Solid knowledge of leading and steering test, verification and validation activities.
  • Good knowledge of Risk Based Testing and Software Testing
  • Good knowledge of assessing quality and taking corrective actions based on KPI’s and metrics.
  • Good knowledge of Service Validation & Test Management Process.
  • Good understanding of users and their context
  • Knowledge of set processes, policies, standards and guidelines.
