We are currently building a Battery Assembly Plant that will be completed by the end of 2025. Now we have a job opening as a Process Engineer to the brand new Battery Assembly Plant in Torslanda. We are in the middle of a transformation journey into more efficient and lean operations with challenging dialogues, follow up and interaction with the operation and supporting organizations. As a Process Engineer in the Battery Assembly Plant, you will play a major role in this journey towards our future. Do you want to join this journey? Then don’t hesitate to apply!  What you'll do Your focus will be one of our process areas in Battery Assembly with a variety of different processes and responsibilities. Further you will take part of developing forecasts for productivity improvements, help drive initiatives and follow how these activities improve our result towards vision. As a Process Engineer you will work in close cooperation with the whole organization such as Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Logistics, Plant Engineering, IT as well as other parts of Volvo Cars. The focus will also be on making engineering more understandable for the operation to increase a business and holistic mindset within the operation and the management teams. Do you fit the profile?  We are looking for a committed Process Engineer who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where a new car is rolling out of the plant every minute.  To be successful in the role, you have an education within engineering area or similar competence acquired through proven experience, preferably within technical engineering and/or operations.  Additionally, you are fluent in both English and Swedish and find it interesting to working cross functionally. Furthermore, we see it as highly meritorious if you have skills and experience from project management and leadership, likewise extended knowledge from battery processes. On a personal level, you enjoy problem-solving and continuous improvement, always seeking new ways to improve and do things better. You are a fast learner that can structure ambiguous problems and synthesize clear takeaways from complex information into clear takeaways and recommendations. You establish trust-based relationships to better serve the organization and can work independently in the context of broader collaborations.
