Din profil About the company Candela’s ultimate purpose is to speed up the transition to fossil fuel-free lakes and oceans. We strive to re-think efficiency in marine transportation to radically push the performance boundaries of electric boats and ships. By combining sensors, computers and advanced submerged hydrofoils, our electric craft fly above the water, reaching speeds and range previously attained only by fossil fuel powerboats. Due to the launch of the C-8 and an increased demand of our boats we are scaling up the pace in production and are looking for Production workers to our hull, deck, and other carbon fibre parts production teams. The job is focusing on processing of carbon fibre components in different work methods, including vacuum infusion. Job description Core responsibilities: • Prime, apply filler, sand and prepare the part for paint. • Using spray-painting to paint the surfaces. (Guns: Sata and Iwata). • Wet sanding and polishing the painted surfaces. • Cleaning and sanding the carbon fiber prior to painting. • Maintaining technical equipment for the job and ensuring that they are in working order. • Follow company guidelines and safety protocols. Your profile You have previous experience from working as a painter in an industry environment where focus has been on finish and precision. You can learn fast and a willingness to be part of an ambitious team with a high working pace and short decision paths. To be successful in the role: • Experience of working with air spray guns priming and painting in an industrial environment (Preferable experience with cars, trucks or boat painting). • Interest in and/or experience from setting up a painting process. This includes defining the needs from a health & safety, facility, and tools perspective. • Able to do masking, cleaning with degreaser, antistatic gun. Touch ups with cotton brush. • To be physically allowed to work in an environment where you are exposed to dust particles and chemicals. • To be able to stand for extended periods and work hands-on • Ability to communicate in English (Swedish is a plus).
