We're looking for an exceptional accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is passionate about building and leading a modern, efficient accounting function.

You will be part of our Finance team in the Stockholm office and report to the Head of Finance. The role is responsible for leading the Swedish accounting team and together ensuring accurate accounting for the Swedish legal entity.

In short, you will:

• Manage the accounting operations for the Swedish entity with responsibility for the entire general ledger.
• Lead the Swedish accounting team.
• Manage the monthly and quarterly closing including analysing and ensuring accurate bookkeeping and preparing the group reporting.
• Review VAT declarations and other relevant filings for the Swedish entity.
• Lead statutory audits and prepare financial statements for the Swedish entity.
• Participate in budgeting/forecasting processes and budget reviews.
• Deliver material to internal stakeholders and auditors.
• Develop and improve processes.

You need:

• A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience working with accounting in a Swedish legal entity, including but not limited to journal entries, audits, VAT filings, and working with the full income statement and balance sheet.
• Proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets.
• Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
• An analytical mindset, strong attention to detail and a continuous drive to improve processes.
• To be comfortable working in a high-growth company and facing new challenges we haven’t met before.

We are impressed if you have:

• Worked in SQL.
• Familiarity with international VAT.
• Speak an additional European language. We are extra impressed if you know German.
