We are supporting the Swedish service company that, through our 19 service stations out in the country, works to ensure that our customers' 750 wind turbines in the Nordic region never stand still. We work with a Nordic perspective and have around 200 employees in the Nordic region, most of them in Sweden. We are now offering full-time position as an IT Service Specialist in the form of a one-year fixed term contract, placed at our Nordic headquarter in Malmö.

Are you an IT Service enthusiast who thrives in an independent work environment? We are seeking an IT Service Specialist to ensure seamless computer operations, enabling end-users to accomplish their tasks. As the sole point of contact, you will receive, prioritize, and actively resolve end-user help requests, maintaining SLA expectations, contributing to our continuous improvement initiatives.

Role Description

In this role, you will be responsible for the acquisition and deployment of pre-packaged software, ensuring that end-users have the necessary tools at their disposal. As a crucial part of operational management, you will serve as the initial point of contact for incoming incidents and requests, delivering timely and effective solutions. Your role involves categorizing, prioritizing, and escalating incidents when necessary, utilizing your troubleshooting skills and research abilities to identify optimal solutions.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Provide first contact support of incoming incidents and requests to the service desk via the agreed channels to ensure courteous, timely, and effective resolution of end-user service requests and incidents

  • Identify correct request/incident category and log detailed information

  • Categorize and prioritize incidents and service requests according to defined processes to meet defined SLAs.

  • Escalate incidents with accurate documentation to suitable team, when required.

  • Record, track, and document the service desk incident-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made and actions taken, through to final resolution.

  • Use remote tools and diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting.

  • Research solutions through internal and external knowledgebase as needed.

  • Identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization.

  • Contribute to technician knowledgebase as needed

  • Provide suggestions for continual improvement.

  • Collaborate with existing IT staff to ensure local demands are fulfilled (hardware, software and project related)

Who are we looking for?

For this position, we believe you should hold a degree or possess equivalent practical experience. Your expertise should cover a range of areas, including basic computer hardware, desktop operating systems, and application support for tools such as MS Office/365 and IBM Notes. Basics in SAP. Any familiarity with ITIL principles would be considered a valuable asset. Moreover, we will value your experience of international experience since it´s an important and continuously process due to the international circumstances for all employees at ENERCON.

Interpersonal skills:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented person with a high ability to take own initiatives and work independently. Moreover, you are structured and organised as a person with a great ability to communicate, contribute and deliver service and expertise in complex situations with a practical-and problem-oriented mindset.
