Avantor is currently looking for a hands-on and motivated Logistic Coordinator to join the team in Mölndal, Gothenburg. In this diverse role, you are mainly responsible for handling incoming and outgoing chemicals at the site. Are you service minded and outgoing. This role will be a full-time and permanent position, based at our customer site in Mölndal. You’ll work from Monday to Friday, with flexible working hours. This role doesn’t require any experience in a scientific environment, nor a scientific degree. You get fully trained internally, so most important for this role is motivation.

The team

You belong to a supportive team, with a good relationship and strong communication. Together with your 3 colleagues you are part of our department Lab & Product Services, which supports big pharmaceutical companies and laboratories all over the world, in Research and Development within the Life Sciences industry.

What we’re looking for

• You get fully trained internally, so no experience or education is required
• Experience in a warehouse or logistic job is a plus
• Good general skills with MS Office
• Fluent communication skills in English and average in Swedish
• Service minded, outgoing and a real teamplayer
• Independent, flexible and highly motivated

How you will thrive and create an impact

• Deliver chemicals to the right department and the right lab at the site and make sure chemical are put away at the correct location
• Order chemicals and follow-up on these orders
• Unpack and replenish
• Handle and check chemicals that have been sent back
• Register all activities of the chemicals in the internal computer system
• Manage the inventory level of chemicals at the site by counting stock and checking expiring dates
• Act as a contact person for the business in case of questions
