About the position

To strengthen our chromatography capabilities, we are now seeking a chemist with solid interest in chromatography to join our Chemical Analysis & Separation team. The team works in close collaboration with our synthetic chemistry teams to support with both preparative and analytical chromatography. You will contribute with your scientific and technical competence to help our chemists drive the progress of our multidisciplinary drug discovery projects. You will also have the chance to participate in development of a fast-growing company and to help us match current and future needs of our clients.

What you will do

You will plan, perform, and oversee purification and analysis of small molecules and peptides on a milligram to gram scale. You are expected to operate the department's analytical and preparative HPLC and SFC instruments. Further, the role might entail first line support and troubleshooting of the laboratory equipment. In the position, you will work with colleagues, partners, and clients in drug discovery projects - often in global and multi-disciplinary settings.

What we look for

You have minimum of 1-2 years of experience in HPLC analysis and preferably also HPLC purification combined with a university degree in organic or analytical chemistry. You have a fundamental understanding of different liquid chromatographic techniques. Practical skills and interest in analytical instruments and maintenance is beneficial.

You are a team player with good collaboration and communication skills and confident in expressing yourself in English. In addition, you have an ability to build and maintain trustworthy interactions with colleagues and clients. You can handle, prioritize, and timely execute multiple assignments.

Meritorious

Experience from synthetic organic or peptide chemistry

Experience of instrument maintenance

Experience with supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC)
