QA Engineer

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for testing complex Computer Vision solutions, conducting tests, writing embedded and connectivity programs and providing effective solutions to ensure the quality of our software products. You will collaborate closely with team members, stakeholders, and other departments to ensure smooth communication and efficient testing processes. 

Objectives 

Analyse complex vision systems to pinpoint bugs, ensure our software remains robust, and write embedded code for the purpose of running microprocessors with robots.

Develop and implement thorough test plans, including scenarios and cases to verify the functionality, usability, and performance of our software products on different platforms.

Utilise programming skills to create automated tests to improve efficiency and test coverage.

Utilise sophisticated tools and procedures to do hardware testing. Integrating complex test beds with robotics, mobile devices, and cameras is part of this process.

Use your programming expertise to test hardware components such as sensors, lenses, and conveyor belts to guarantee smooth integration and performance.

Utilise statistical methods and advanced AI technologies to analyse test findings, leading to enhancements in software quality and testing procedures.

Work directly with teams from different departments, offering important feedback and collaborating to quickly resolve challenges.

You will play a crucial part in improving our testing methods and helping create top-notch software solutions.

Skills and Requirements 

Strong analytical skills and logical approach to problem-solving. 

Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders. 

Keen eye for detail to identify even the most inconspicuous bugs. 

Efficient time management and ability to meet deadlines. 

Creative thinking to explore various use cases and identify potential software vulnerabilities. 

Ability to understand both individual system components and the broader picture. 

User-centric mindset and ability to think through processes logically. 

Proficiency in preparing test plans, scenarios, and cases. 

Familiarity with various testing tools, such as bug tracking, API testing, security testing, hardware testing, micro controllers, camera sensors and image analytic tools.

High accuracy and precision in reporting, including test and defect reports. 

Knowledge of programming languages to enhance automation testing skills.
