This is a consulting assignment that may vary in length but can last up to 2 years.

 

As an HSE Officer, you will be part of an operational onsite team that will collectively monitor that contractors working on the construction site are working safely. Your primary responsibility will be to promote a culture of safety, identify potential hazards and reducing risks to prevent accidents and injuries on the construction site. The role is largely outdoors, alongside daily operations.

Responsibilities

The role has various responsibilities and the tasks may differ depending on the day but some of the responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and initiatives, and recommend improvements as needed.
• Collect data and report on all HSE and accident events.
• Lead daily coordination meetings between contractors.
• Enforce safety policies, procedures, and regulations.

Qualifications

Requirements 

• Experience working in construction, industries or similar fields with a good understanding of the risks and challenges that arises concerning the working environment.
• Good ability to communicate and collaborate. 
• Excellent English skills in writing and speaking.

Advantageous background

• A degree or certificate in working environment
• Working level proficiency in Swedish, both in writing and speaking.
• Knowledge in Bas U
