Your Responsibilities As CFO of Hive, you will: - Track Cash Flow: Implement systems to manage cash flow for stability and agility. - Plan Finances: Develop and execute financial plans aligned with strategic objectives. - Analyze Hive's Strengths and Weaknesses: Conduct thorough financial analyses and propose corrective actions. - Build a Top-Notch Finance Team: Recruit, mentor, and lead finance professionals. - Ensure Balance: Maintain revenue-expense balance with robust controls. - Oversee FP&A: Provide strategic oversight of financial planning and analysis. - Report Financials: Prepare and present reports for the Board, guiding governance. - Partnership Management: Managing relationships with auditors and financial institutions to maintain trust and transparency. - Structure Commission Programs: Collaborate with Sales on commission programs to drive performance. - Executive Leadership: Being an integral part of the management team, reporting directly to the CEO. Who we are looking for We seek a candidate with prior experience in CFO or similar financial leadership roles, preferably within the technology or related sectors. A Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field is advantageous, along with strong budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and risk assessment skills. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess: Financial Acumen: A strong background in finance, including a deep understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and economic trends. Experience managing finances for technology companies or enterprises of similar scale would be beneficial. Analytical Skills: A proven track record of analyzing complex financial data and deriving actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making. Experience with financial analysis in the technology sector or enterprise environments would be advantageous. Communication Skills: Effective communication skills are crucial, including the ability to convey financial information to various stakeholders, including the board, investors, and management. Experience in presenting financial reports and recommendations to executive-level audiences is desirable. Ethical Integrity: You should demonstrate a strong commitment to ethical conduct and compliance with financial regulations and standards. Experience in managing financial resources ethically and transparently is essential. Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with the management team and other departments, such as Product, People Experience, and Sales, is critical.
