Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior System Safety Engineer to join our dynamic team

What you will work on:

• Drive development of functional and technical safety concepts within subsystems, software, and hardware.
• Perform functional safety engineering activities for product development teams.
• Develop technical work products.
• Write safety case and project safety plan.
• Conduct system safety joint review.
• Provide work products for safety argumentation when needed (e.g., traceability metrics, complexity measurement).
• Conduct safety analysis including FTA (Fault Tree Analysis), FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), and assessing freedom of interferences at hardware and software levels.
• Participate in strategic planning for the group.
• Assist in partner/supplier selection.
• Review System Safety Statement of Work (SS-SOW).
• Contribute to initial concept design.
• Support production launch.

What you bring:

• Educational Background: M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Documented experience in working with safety cases and safety plans.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with safety activities and deliveries according to ISO 26262.
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of system and function design within the automotive industry.
