We are looking for an experienced Director Finance Business Partner to join our EMEA & APAC team

Your role

You will play a key role in overseeing the financial operations and strategic financial planning for the clinics within Össur. You will be responsible for ensuring financial stability, accuracy, and compliance with regulations while providing financial guidance and support to senior management.

Your Tasks:

Financial Strategy and Planning:

• Co-pilot on the implementation of EMEA Clinics strategies and plans aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
• Monitors Clinics FBP’s performance.
• Builds/monitors business cases that support strategic decision making.
• Primary finance stakeholder in regional Clinics M&A.

Performance Management and Collaboration:

• Attends and prepares performance review meetings in close collaboration with business leaders.
• Proactively suggests business problems to address to Centers of Excellence (“COE”).
• Constructively supports and, if needed, challenges business partner strategic assumptions and goals.

Communication and Stakeholder Management:

• Effectively communicates the story behind the numbers in terms business partners understand.
• Understands how different stakeholders need a different approach.
• Clarifies decision trade-offs to internal customers.
• Redirects poor business assumptions.

Problem-Solving and Decision Making:

• Makes practical recommendations based on analysis.
• Asks questions that efficiently lead to identification of the root cause of problems.
• Develops practical and acceptable compromises when negotiating.
• Effectively prioritizes business problems based on urgency and relevance.
• Generates multiple options to solve a problem and identifies the most effective solution (quality decision).

Who are you

• Solid educational background in (Business) Economics or Business admin, preferably including post graduate controllers degree/CPA degree
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role
• Ability to guide, challenge and provide context on statistical methodology.
• Strategical thinker and able to be a critical stakeholder in strategic decision making;
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Eager to gain strong understanding of the business
• Driver of integrated partnerships,
• Collaborative, influencer and able to challenge decisions
