Job description – Systems Engineer Electrification

Dynapac rollers (both soil and asphalt) are used in road construction working areas all around the world, normally in very harsh environments with high demands on safety, reliability and productivity. Our industry is now facing a very interesting transformation as we are joining the global trend of electrification. We are therefore looking for someone to help us as Systems Engineer Electrification.

You will be working in the Heavy Compaction Design & Development department in a key role as a technical specialist within the area of electrification.

Among the tasks:

• Dimensioning and design of the electric power-train
• Analytics of performance of machines and sub-systems
• Participate in evaluation and selection of partners and suppliers
• Estimate work effort and break down design items into manageable work packages
• Documentation of developed functionality
• Hands-on testing on prototype machines
• Understanding of customer need and demands
• Follow up field test machines
• Monitoring of technology and market trends

Experience requirements

• We expect relevant experience of work with Electric Systems

Knowledge

Knowledge in any of the following areas of technology is an advantage:

• Battery/BMS Systems
• Electric drives
• Hybrid solutions
• Hydraulic systems

Educational requirements

You have a Master of Science degree within relevant area or equivalent work experience.
