Your work responsibilities We are looking for a seasoned Senior Thermal Hardware Engineer with extensive experience in leading design projects from conception to completion. In this role, you will have the opportunity to leverage your expertise to mentor junior engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of groundbreaking products and solutions. We are specialized in the area known in the industry as “thermal management”, meaning heating and cooling applications in general but specifically within vehicles and heat pumps. If you have a background in mechanical design, thermodynamics and energy systems this is definitely the place to be. Your work days will consist of leading the design and development of complex mechanical components and systems, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards. You will utilize advanced CAD software (e.g., CATIA V5, Creo) to create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings. Besides this, conducting analysis and simulations to optimize designs for performance, reliability, and manufacturability will be a part of your usual assignments. You will have the responsibility to provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their professional growth and development. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure seamless project execution will also be part of your usual duties. Also, staying alert of emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement will be part of your routine. Your profile • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Energy Engineering or related field. • 5 years or more of progressive experience in thermal hardware design, preferably within automotive industry. • Proven track record of successfully leading design projects from concept to production. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. • Demonstrated leadership abilities and a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
