Modvions first commercial wind turbine tower was installed in 2023 and the interest from customers has never been higher. What will you be doing: Modvion is a supplier of modular wooden towers to the wind industry. The towers are supplied to Wind Turbine OEM’s where Modvion hand over the tower when they are installed and approved meaning that they ready to receive the wind turbine. The Modvions wooden towers are based on a modular construction technology, meaning that modules are being transported from the manufacturing facility to the relevant installation site where the modules are being assembled into sections followed by an erection of the tower.. As our Installation Lead, you will have a key role in planning and managing the tower construction. Of course, in line with the certified installation documentation and according to the agreed time plans. You will work from our office in Gothenburg, but successful installations require regular site visits as well as frequent contact with colleagues on site. Currently we are operating within Sweden's borders, but our ambition over time is to expand internationally. Your main tasks will include: - Participate in the development and refinement of new and existing installation methods. - Develop work and installation descriptions as well as documentation for quality assurance. - Develop and follow-up of time plans - Be a support function for the installation crew on site. - Be an interface between the on-site installation process and our Product development department - Be an interface between Modvion and Wind Turbine OEM’s and develop methods and procedures according to the requirement specified by customers. We are looking for: We believe that you have a background from the wind or construction industry, it is a big plus is if you have experience from heavy lifting. You most likely have a background as Construction manager or Installation coordinator. To be successful in the role, you have a great interest in technology and are challenged by finding solutions. You have the technical depth and experience required for creative and analytical problem solving. In this role it is important that you have a good balance in being structured, thorough and understand the importance of time and project planning, but at the same time are flexible and receptive to changes. As a person, you have a high degree of self-drive and take own initiatives while being an unpretentious and communicative team player. Furthermore, you have a B driver's license and are an experienced user of MS Office.
