Job description

In the role as Service Manager, you ensure the highest quality of operational execution at our distributor and end user sites. The role is accountable for managing technicians and deliverables for the EMEA service team including coordination, identifying opportunities, new product requirements and problem management. The service department currently contains of 15 technicians stationed in Sweden and Germany.

You will collaborate with engineers, product management and others to define, scope and implement assigned projects within customers’ environments. You will report to the CEO in Germany and be stationed at our office in Gothenburg with closeness to the various parts of the organization and the products. International travels are a part of the role.

• Responsible for hiring, performance management, and retention of personnel
• Responsible for ensuring all personnel at the site are trained and in compliance with customer requirements and product support
• Accountable to set up and lead the team to support overall high-quality delivery to our customers
• Accountable to development and set up new EMEA organization and routines to implement new products

Your profile

You enjoy the role of developing your staff as well as the business and constantly strive for high quality improvements. You are good at driving your ideas in the organization and are not afraid of changes and has experience in implementation of new routines and processes.

To succeed in the role, you have excellent communicational skills for international environment and cross functional communication. You are comfortable in your leadership role and understand what it means to lead remotely and to work between different nationalities. You have a good ability to prioritize your tasks and delegate in a way that creates trust and commitment.

• Post-secondary education in technology, or equivalent experience
• Experience of service work in a senior position, preferably with practical experience
• Meritorious with knowledge of the industry or related industries
• Experience with engineering & re-engineering processes, applying project management methodologies and developing release schedules
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, both in Swedish and English
