As our Engineering Manager you will be responsible to build and maintain a capable engineering organisaiton to deliver on business goals. What you will do As a Engineer Manager you will be in charge of building high performing teams and grow individuals. You will work side-by-side with our product colleagues in the product operating model. You will executive on organizational change and transformation for your teams as needed. You will be in charge over 2-3 teams, we are a total of 8 teams and looking to grow. Recruiting and retention to meet staffing objectives will be a part of your role and you will collaborate closely with other functions in the organization on initiatives to align engineering efforts with product strategy, customer needs, and business goals. You will work with continues improvement in your teams base on informed, data driven observations that include metrics and KPI:s. You will be part of passionate teams so you need to ensure that your team adhere to agreed-upon engineering standards for quality and development methodology. In this role you will have three colleagues both in Sweden and the USA and you will report to the Director of Engineering Management. It is important to have a good environment in the team so we foster the culture of collaboration, innovation and technical excellent. You will have passionate and easy-going engineers reporting to you. Your role as a Engineer Manager is to help them grow and develop through coaching and feedback. What you will bring along You are passionate about developing high-performing teams and building relationships internally and externally. Your curiosity is what drives you to actively seek new challenges. You have proven experience building and enabling teams and challenging the status quo. - 3+ years of engineering leadership experience. - You are an affective communicator and motivator at all levels of an organization. - You have demonstrated experience operating as an effective leader in a remoter first environment. - You are resilient and resourceful in face of ambiguity and thrive on change.
