IKEA are seeking an experienced and talented IT Enterprise Architect whose skills and communication can navigate beyond oceans and continents, your beautifully crafted principles, guidelines, and strategies will be spanning across 28 Global Markets.

As an Enterprise Architect Leader, you will be part of a great team leading the transformation of the IKEA retail operation platform. Your mission, should you accept it, will be to drive the architectural roadmap and strategic framework for Retail Operations Inter IKEA Group. You will be responsible and accountable for principles, guidelines, strategy, business capabilities, reusable patterns and approved exceptions for domain and product areas. If you are passionate about Microsoft Products and the latest and greatest technology, this could be especially exciting for you.

You will be joining our Retail Operation Solution & Support (ROSS), within Retail Concept at Inter IKEA Systems. Through your expertise you will act as a sparring partner for our network of architects to get second opinions and guidance on challenging topics/decisions, as well as leading architecture assessments and framing business initiatives.

You will interact and collaborate within Retail Operations (ROSS), and with stakeholders across IKEA and the different franchisees, to understand needs and synergies, secure buy-in and jointly create seamless experiences, worldwide.

The scope of ROSS is to develop, deliver and manage the digital offer for IKEA retailers, which enables the same customer and co-worker experience in all markets and channels.

ROSS operates as part of Retail Concept Expansion, the organization part of the franchisor of the IKEA Concept that delivers to the IKEA growth ambitions by enabling development of the IKEA business in existing territories and by expanding into new ones.

About you

To be successful in this role

• You have significant experience in Enterprise/Domain architecture and Cloud solutions.
• You have a solid understanding of Retail Operations and the complexities of a Business Franchise.
• You possess Architecture modelling expertise and a solid understanding of the underlying business capabilities/processes, solutions, platforms and technologies
• You are a solid and passionate leader, who adapts well in a multicultural environment, thrives in a transforming environment and is comfortable with leading changes.
• It is important for you to lead, coach and develop the product team members reporting to you, no matter if it´s about the big picture or hands on support.
• You can take a holistic, strategic approach, but also deep dive into details and do when required.
• Also possessing Architecture modelling expertise and a solid understanding of the underlying business capabilities/processes, solutions, platforms and technologies
• Preferably strong knowledge of the relevant IKEA business processes and strategies including knowledge of the IKEA franchise system or similar global, complex franchise business.
• Knowledge to engineer and design information technology systems that enable agility and flexibility to respond to customer needs  Knowledge of IKEAs corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people
• Proven analytical skills and experience making decisions based on hard and soft data
• Outstanding communicator with the ability to make complex technical things simple. You can communicate and collaborate with people across continents and cultures in an amazing way.
