What is required for this role: The goal of this position is to provide input to developers on how use cases should be automated in our IT portal, delivering them to customers through a "one-click solution." Currently, many IT ordering items are manually delivered. We have identified specific use cases that need to be analysed, documented, and sent for development. This will reduce delivery time and incidents through automation. Main Tasks and Responsibilities: - Review an IT delivery use case and determine which teams are responsible for delivering it. - Create UML flow diagrams to document the current delivery process. - Break down large, bundled use cases into smaller, automatable components and collaborate with responsible teams and stakeholders. Document this using UML formalism. - Explain inputs and outputs of different steps to developers, enabling them to develop the analyzed components. - Determine how smaller deliverables can be orchestrated together into a bundled offering (e.g., a Linux server requiring an IP address, storage, and Linux installation). Competences Needed: - Strong analytical thinking, ability to understand complex company structures and how they work together. - Proficiency in IT infrastructure concepts and technologies, demonstrating a solid understanding of how infrastructure components interact and support software applications. - Effective communication skills to facilitate collaboration between infrastructure developers and other stakeholders, translating technical requirements into user-friendly language and vice versa. - Good understanding of Agile development practices and IT infrastructure. - Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess the complexity and usability of proposed solutions, providing valuable input to simplify and optimize workflows. - Experience in designing IT infrastructure automation solutions is a plus. - Knowledge of ServiceNow platform ITSM module is a plus. - Knowledge how ansible and terraform work is a plus. - Good knowledge of ITIL and UML.
