As part of a dedicated team, you will contribute to managing all financial aspects of SNS's global operations. Our team focuses on ensuring seamless and efficient workflows related to daily financial operation, financial reporting and procedures, encompassing monthly/annual closing and reporting, reconciliation, financial audit preparations, policy compliance, tax governance, expense report control & review, settlements, quality control, and other standard accounting practices. Due to a couple of team members going on parental leave, we are welcoming candidates with varying experience levels and diverse accounting backgrounds for these full-time positions. Reporting to the Head of Accounting, these roles are temporary, starting Q2 2024, with the possibility of extension. About the role The SNS accounting team consists of: - Head of Accounting - Responsible for owning and developing statutory accounting within SNS Group and leading the entire accounting team. - Accounting Managers - Responsible for the accounting practices of their respective business entities and for delegating tasks to accountants and finance assistants. Oversees financial reporting, compliance, strategic guidance, audit preparation, process improvement, and efficient workflows and processes within their business entity team. - Accountants & Junior Accountants - Play a crucial role in supporting the accounting team's day-to-day operations. Contribute to tasks such as financial reporting, reconciliation, and other standard accounting practices. - Finance Assistants/Purchase Coordinators - The Finance Assistants/Purchase Coordinators in supports various finance and accounting tasks. Key responsibilities include invoice processing, acting as a bridge between the finance and buying team, resolving issues with vendors, and maintaining positive vendor relationships. In this recruitment, we are seeking accountants at different experience levels, and the level of responsibility and complexity varies depending on the role (note that Head of Accounting is not a vacant position). About You We are looking for candidates with an academic degree in accounting or equivalent. Depending on the position you are interested in, we expect 2-6 years of experience in accounting and reporting. Strong bookkeeping skills, knowledge of balance account reconciliations, familiarity with the chart of accounts, the classification of accounts, debit and credit, and understanding of AP, AR, and bank ledger workflows are essential. Excellent MS Excel and English skills are required, and experience with Business Central is preferred.
