AirForestry are on the hunt for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to play a pivotal role and strengthen the team. The role: As Lead Mechanical Engineer at AirForestry you will contribute to establish requirements and defining technical specifications. In this role you will play an important part in the development of concept designs, prototypes and systems design. You are executing follow-ups and optimization after testing and on prototypes. Further, you will have a close contact with suppliers and ensuring manufacturability. Documentation of and reporting technical solutions and projects is frequently done. Experience: - Minimum of 10 years experience in Mechanical Engineering and Product Development - High ability and interest in taking initiatives and lead concept development - Experience in building and maintaining successful supplier relationships - Experience in working with Product Lifecycle Management - A good understanding of manufacturing processes - A keen understanding of documentation and technical reporting Meritorious: - Deep knowledge in SolidWorks or similar CAD-program - Previous experience designing structures in composite materials such as CFRP - Previous experience designing for additive manufacturing - Previous experience designing for aluminium casting Would you describe yourself as an excellent communicator, appreciates working in cross functional teams and someone who naturally becomes and enjoy being the “go-to” person - we need you!
