Are you a curious developer looking to grow your career? We are looking for a Software Developer to join one of our teams at our R&D site in Linköping. You will help us build and operate video management software for cloud and on-prem solutions, working alongside experienced colleagues in a collaborative environment.

At Axis in Linköping, we work in small, cross-functional teams. Everyone contributes across the full scope of the team's responsibilities. You get the close collaboration and short decision paths of a smaller site, with the resources and stability of a global company.

We take end-to-end responsibility for our services, from development and testing to deployment and maintenance. We learn together, share knowledge, and continuously improve how we work.

As a developer, you will build and refine our products while growing your skills across the stack. You will use modern development methods and AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot.

Responsibilities include:

• Design and implement features across the full stack
• Write well-structured, testable, and maintainable code
• Collaborate with stakeholders and other development teams
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration
• Drive improvements in our development practices
• Participate in everyday teamwork and agile ceremonies
• Explore and bring new ideas to the team

You are a motivated developer who is eager to learn. You enjoy working in a team, you are not afraid to ask questions, and you take pride in quality work. You have a solid foundation in software development and a genuine curiosity for the field. You are also enthusiastic about the shift toward agentic development and AI-native workflows.

• A relevant engineering degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar
• A few years of professional experience in software development
• Experience with Go (or a strong desire to master it) and a solid understanding of cloud-native architectures (e.g. AWS)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration, specifically Docker and Kubernetes
• Integrated agentic development tools like Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor into your daily workflow to multiply your productivity
• A collaborative mindset and good communication skills

• Experience with a variety of languages and frameworks (e.g. Rust, TypeScript, Node.js)
• Experience with frontend development in React
• A passion for automating the software factory, such as experimenting with LLM-based agents for coding, testing, or deployment
• Experience with advanced CI/CD patterns
