Join our team as a Maths Teacher for Years 6–9 at IES Jönköping!

Are you a passionate educator who wants to inspire and empower the next generation of problem-solvers? We are looking for a Maths Teacher for our Middle and Senior school. At IES Jönköping, we provide a structured and stimulating environment where curiosity is encouraged. You will work alongside a supportive subject team to deliver high-quality mathematics education, helping our students reach their full potential.

We are an international school with 850 students from förskoleklass to Year 9. Our staff includes 130 employees from all over the world. As a Maths Teacher, you will be a key player in our team. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, collaborating with your subject department, and mentoring a group of approximately 15 students. You will play a vital part in maintaining our calm and productive environment where every student can succeed.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and competent teacher who is a positive and reliable team player. Key qualifications include:

• Qualified Teacher Status (Lärarlegitimation) in Mathematics for Years 6–9 (or currently finishing your degree).
• Fluency in English (as Maths is taught in English at IES).
• Professionalism, responsibility, and a positive mindset.
• The ability to become a part of a collaborative team from day one.
