We are looking for an Interim Legal Counsel to join the Expansion Legal Team in Stockholm for one year with start date in March or April.
Job Description
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As Legal Counsel in the Expansion Legal Team, you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the strategic legal agenda across our global store portfolio in over 70 different markets. You will work with global and regional stakeholders to align commercial requirements with global legal standards and safeguard these in our contracts. Acting as a global centre of excellence, you will partner with local market counsels to foster best practices across regions, ensuring consistency and compliance with the strategies you help define for each region. Additionally, you will lead training and knowledge-sharing initiatives to strengthen legal capabilities and champion AI and tech-enabled solutions to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
As a Legal Counsel in the Expansion Legal Team, you will belong to the Expansion Department at Commercial Development & Growth.
Commercial Development & Growth is a global function within the H&M brand with the mission to set and deliver on the global customer experience strategy to strengthen the brand and enable profitable sales. The function develops, expands and optimises all sales channels while securing conditions for efficient operations leveraged by tech and strong collaboration across the organisation.
The Expansion Department owns the inorganic omni growth strategies, drives leasing, portfolio management and partner strategies in our 70+ markets. In this role, you will collaborate closely with both global and regional stakeholders.

This is a full-time temporary position for 1 year, commencing on March or April, 2026. You will report to Head of Expansion Legal.
