Do you want to work close to the business through strategic purchasing? We are now seeking a Buyer within Marketing Purchasing, where you will play an active role in sourcing initiatives, supplier collaboration, and continuous improvement within a global environment.

About the position

Perido is looking for a Buyer for one of our customers, a successful name in the automotive industry. You will take the lead in marketing-related sourcing projects within the client company’s purchasing organization. The Marketing Purchasing function supports the entire group across areas such as marketing services, events, business intelligence, and printing services. The supplier base is both global and local. The office is located in Gothenburg, where the culture is strongly team-oriented, with colleagues who support one another, bring energy to their work, and value a positive and respectful working environment.

Your responsibilities:

• Planning, sourcing, and follow-up on project sourcing
• Act as a supplier host for several suppliers, ensuring strong and professional relationships and serving as the single point of contact for the group
• Optimizing the supplier base by focusing on sustainability, quality, and other strategic parameters
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with the team
• Actively contribute to team development by bringing improvement ideas and supporting your colleagues

Your characteristics

We believe that you are a person with integrity, high energy and passion for performance. You have a good spirit, spread positive energy around you and are good at communication, both verbal and written. Since the job is about building relationships plus negotiating and convincing others about the best solutions and ways of working, we also believe you should have good networking skills, analytical skills and the ability to be effective in a variety of presentation settings.

Qualifications:

• Experience from purchasing in a global organization
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Fluent in English – oral and written
• Team player and ability to work autonomously

Meritorious:

• Marketing and/or marketing purchasing knowledge

Contract type and hours

Full-time, consulting assignment until 2027-02-26. Start 2026-03-02.
