We are recruiting a Marketing & Sales Assistant to support our home-furnishings business. The role involves supplier coordination, product information management, marketing support, and communication with overseas partners, especially within South Asia.

Main Responsibilities

- Support preparation of marketing materials, catalogues, and product documentation.

- Assist sales activities, customer communication, and presentations.

- Conduct market and product research for home-furnishing collections.

- Liaise with South Asian suppliers, manufacturers, and artisan producers.

- Coordinate sourcing activities, product specifications, and administrative documentation.

- Ensure smooth communication between international partners and the Swedish office.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in home furnishings, textile sourcing, décor product development, or international trade within the home-furnishing sector.

- Strong knowledge of South Asian home-furnishing craftsmanship, traditional production methods, and supplier networks.

- Fluent in English, with Urdu and Hindi required for communication with regional suppliers.

- Experience in international sourcing, product development, and cross-border coordination.

- Ability to work independently, travel when required, and manage multiple tasks.

Meritorious (Added Advantage)

- A degree or vocational qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.

Why These Skills Are Needed

This position requires long-term, region-specific expertise in South Asian home-furnishing production, multilingual communication in English/Urdu/Hindi, and established supplier networks. These combined competencies are not commonly available in the Swedish or EU labour market and are essential for our sourcing and product-development operations.

Employment Terms

- Salary: Competitive, in line with Swedish market standards and collective-agreement levels.

- Working hours: 40 hours per week.

- Insurance: All mandatory insurances (health, life, occupational injury, pension) provided according to Swedish requirements for work-permit holders.
