Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Calculation Engineer (CAE) to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Take full responsibility for calculation assignments from initial request through final delivery, including documentation
- Perform strength and FE-calculations for steel designs in accordance with established methods and standards
- Plan, execute and streamline calculation activities across multiple projects
- Contribute expert knowledge and provide technical support to project managers, designers and production engineers
- Ensure all work follows defined processes, work instructions and engineering guidelines
- Collaborate closely with calculation engineers, mechanical designers and project managers to drive improvements in a high-tech production environment
- Work independently with a structured, methodical approach while maintaining strong communication with colleagues and stakeholders
What you bring:
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering with a focus on structural calculations for steel constructions
- Experience in strength of materials and calculation work according to Eurocode
- Strong engineering competence with the ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written
- Skills in Ansys, Windchill, SolidWorks and Simulation are an advantage
- Basic knowledge of machine safety, AFS regulations and CE marking is beneficial
- Curious, responsible and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to changes
- Strong organizational skills and ability to collaborate effectively with motivated colleagues
