Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Support and maintain the dbt environment to ensure stable, reliable and up-to-date SQL pipelines.
• Contribute to the AI-assisted migration from an internal SQL transformation tool to dbt.
• Develop and refine data verification loops, including tests, lineage tracking and contract checks.
• Build simple technical prototypes to evaluate open-source and commercial solutions for SQL-based data transformations.
• Collaborate with Analytics Engineers and Data Scientists to improve tooling, workflows and overall platform usability.
• Drive best practices in SQL development, transformation logic and modern data stack standards.
• Contribute to shaping direction and processes in an environment with high uncertainty and rapid evolution.

What you bring:

• Fluency in Python, Bash scripting and Java.
• Strong knowledge of modern analytics data stacks, including SQL, dbt and/or other pipeline technologies.
• Deep experience working with SQL-like languages and cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery.
• Experience using AI coding assistants to increase productivity and code quality.
• Familiarity with AI engineering principles and building products on top of foundation models.
• Practical experience with agent systems is a significant advantage.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to maintain pace, structure and quality in delivery.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in distributed teams.
• Strong initiative and comfort working in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
• Fluency in English and Swedish
