Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer – MLOps Focus to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Develop and enhance a platform supporting AI needs, including model registry, model traceability, and data traceability.
• Collect, structure, and store data for AI and analytics use cases.
• Collaborate closely with IT and OT teams to design hosting and infrastructure solutions.
• Participate in technical decision-making across both Data Engineering and AI domains.
• Drive initiatives from concept to implementation and contribute your own ideas to shape the AI platform.
• Support related projects in automation and digitalisation within the department.

What you bring:

• 3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer with interest or competence in MLOps.
• Strong skills in Python, including experience with FastAPI, async programming, and Data Science packages (Torch, scikit-learn, NumPy).
• Basic knowledge of Docker and container technologies.
• Basic understanding of React and frontend integration.
• Experience working with databases (preferably PostgreSQL), including both usage and schema design.
• Knowledge of, or interest in, MLFlow and experiment tracking.
• Basic skills in bash/shell scripting.
• Ability and willingness to work across multiple domains (infrastructure, backend, frontend).
• Curious, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to build solutions from the ground up.
• Ability to commute to Trollhättan at least 4 days per week.
• Swedish citizenship, fluent in Swedish and English.
