WHAT YOU’LL DO

Commercial Development & Growth is a global function within the H&M brand and our mission is to set and deliver on the global customer experience strategy to strengthen our brand and enable profitable sales. Together we develop, expand and optimize all sales channels while securing conditions for efficient operations leveraged by tech and strong collaboration across the organization.

Our function plays a key role in delivering on our brand plan through an elevated, inspirational, and relevant shopping experience that is centered around our product and provides competitive convenience for our customers.

We are looking for a Business Controller to be responsible for our operational and financial controlling support with a focus on corporate governance, investments, project tracking and long-term strategy to enable growth and to secure high financial returns and profitability. You will have a global scope, a multi-dimensional stakeholder group and support the different teams within the function based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with KPI development/follow-up, Monthly & Quarterly reporting
• Analyze and evaluate the functions, as well as the business, performance versus short- and long-term goals
• Set targets, analyze performance and follow-up on the functions performance as well as large initiatives
• Convert analysis into actionable insights and communicate these effectively to key stakeholders
• Collect and synchronize different perspectives to support strategic decisions, change management initiatives and operational matters
• Support with the corporate governance work in the function, including internal control framework
• Be a strong and close support to our global, regional and markets teams

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for people with:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Controller or similar roles
• An academic degree in business or engineering
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn your analysis into actions
• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint with hands on experience from writing queries to extract, clean, structure, and analyze large sets of data

And people who have:

• Strong business acumen and content understanding
• Strong financial knowledge of P&L reporting
• The ability to steer strategically and influence towards the desired outcome
• Excellent communication skills and experience in visualising and presenting analysis and insights to a senior and diverse stakeholder group
• Fluency in English
