Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Automotive – Design Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Design internal components for Power Take-Off (PTO) systems on gearboxes for both internal combustion engine (ICE) drivetrains and electrified vehicle platforms
• Contribute to concept development, detailed design, and validation activities within multi-company development projects
• Perform 3D and 2D design work using Catia V5 and manage product data in Enovia
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including test engineers, designers, project managers, and Scrum Masters
• Ensure component functionality, quality, and manufacturability according to customer standards and product development processes
• Prepare technical documentation and support reviews throughout the development lifecycle
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support problem-solving activities within the team

What you bring:

• Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field
• Strong experience in Catia V5 for mechanical design
• Hands-on experience with Enovia and PDM/PLM systems
• Proven background in product development within the automotive or drivetrain sector
• Knowledge of gearbox or powertrain components is an advantage
• Familiarity with structured product development processes, preferably from the customer’s PD environment
• Strong drive, initiative, and ability to take ownership of tasks
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work on-site approximately 80% in Södertälje
• Fluent in English; Swedish is an advantage but not mandatory
