Role Summary

As a Design Engineer specializing in Individual Chassis Drawing (ICD) for trucks, you will be part of a team dedicated to delivering, maintaining, and developing product structures for Scania's complete product portfolio. Your role will involve providing vital product data, including weight, ICD, and material data sheets, and supporting R&D throughout the product development process.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver and maintain product structures for Scania's product portfolio.
• Provide essential product data within weight, ICD, and material data sheets.
• Support R&D throughout the product development process.
• Develop common methods, tools, ways of working, and planning for all technical product areas.
• Create models and measurements to publish ICD-drawings (2D) for body builders globally.
• Analyze and follow up on incoming product changes and their impact on ICD-drawings.
• Work with creation and adjustment of ICD-drawings using modular system OAS and CAD-program Catia.
• Handle inquiries from the market side and manage a daily helpdesk.
• Collaborate with team colleagues in India to create geo-models and publish ICD-drawings for customized ordered trucks.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant area.
• Knowledge about Scania and our trucks.
• Experience with product structure (PLM/PDM) is a merit.
• Experience within ICD, CAD, and OAS is a merit.
