About the role

As the group Director of IT Security Architecture, you will be responsible for developing and designing technical security solutions for the whole company, as well as owning and communicating the overall Cyber Security architecture. The forward-looking aspect of the role entails keeping up to date with technical developments in the field and maintaining a target architecture developed in collaboration with the IT architecture community. You must be able to translate security requirements into technical designs, and explain the reasons behind chosen solutions to IT staff as well as business stakeholders.

The main purpose of the role is to ensure that the technical IT security architecture in Electrolux is continuously maintained and developed in order to meet both current and future needs and requirements. As our future Director of IT Security Architecture, you will be key in helping to drive the company's digital transformation.

You will report to the Group CISO and be a member of the CISO Leadership Team. You will also lead the IT Security Architecture group and be part of the Enterprise Architecture structure in the Group IT organization.

What you will do

· Own, maintain and develop the Cyber Security Architecture framework

· Take an active role in the IT Enterprise Architecture community, as well as in the CISO Leadership team

· Develop and future-proof Electrolux's technical cyber security capabilities

· Assess new cyber security tools and systems, stay current on the developments in the security domain

· Actively build cross-functional and cross-competence collaboration within and outside the direct area of control

· Work together with IT security staff in other functions to plan and run security projects

· Assist other functions in assessing IT tools from a security perspective, ensure fit with overall security architecture

· Assist compliance team in planning and coordinating security audits and reviews of IT environments

· Report on non-compliance, vulnerabilities and incidents

Who you are

You are an experienced and dedicated security professional, able to weigh security requirements against business realities and make informed decisions about which technical solutions to choose. You have a desire to build the most suitable security infrastructure for the company, and the knowledge and competence to translate that desire into practice.

You also have the communication skills to explain your choices to different stakeholders, using language they will understand and relate to and the patience to repeat your message until it is understood and accepted. You have an analytical mindset and are interested in assessing a situation and developing the best solution to achieve our goals.

You bring

· Excellent understanding of all aspects of information security

· Excellent understanding of IT and security technology, including cloud solutions and mobile devices

· Strong communication skills, ability to influence

· Relevant experience from complex IT environments and organizations, preferably in an international context

· At least 10 years relevant experience in IT and information security roles

· An analytical mindset and capability

· Self-motivated and able to plan and deliver based on high level objectives

· Security certifications (e.g. CISSP) are an advantage.
