At the end of 2023 Consilium Safety Group was acquired by Antin Infrastructure Partners, a world leading private equity firm focused on infrastructure. Backed by strong ownership, we are embarking on a thrilling growth journey. To support this, we are now looking for a proficient Sustainability Manager to take our sustainability efforts to the next level and play a key role in shaping the future of our business.

About the Role As our Sustainability Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping our sustainability strategy and driving impactful and large cross-functional initiatives alongside a dedicated team. You will be working closely with internal teams, the ESG experts at Antin Infrastructure Partners, and the corporate management team. Your contribution will help elevate our ESG performance to not just meet but exceed our expectations.

Reporting directly to the CMCO / Head of Sustainability, you will drive progress in the Safety Tech space, supporting our ambitious sustainability agenda and inspiring meaningful change. This is not just a job, it is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact and help redefine what sustainable technology can achieve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead impactful initiatives to significantly reduce the environmental footprint across all our business operations, from product design to production processes, supply chain management, and end-of-life strategies.
  • Forge and nurture strategic partnerships with stakeholders across various industries to drive innovation in sustainability and create meaningful change.
  • Monitor and report on sustainability performance metrics, providing actionable insights to senior leadership to guide decision-making and enhance our initiatives.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by keeping informed on regulatory developments and industry trends in sustainability, ensuring our compliance (e.g. CSRD) and proactive adaptation to emerging challenges.
  • Champion advocacy efforts and collaborate with third parties on certifications, standards (e.g. EcoVadis), and industry-wide sustainability projects that elevate our impact.
  • Oversee and execute daily operational tasks related to our sustainability initiatives, ensuring practical implementation and a culture of continuous improvement across all departments.

What We’re Looking For

  • Postgraduate degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Extensive experience working in sustainability consulting or in a similar industry, such as safety, technology, or manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale sustainability initiatives, particularly in emissions reduction.
  • In-depth knowledge of sustainability frameworks and standards such as SBTi for setting science-based emissions targets and GRI for comprehensive sustainability reporting.
  • Experience in completing corporate level regulatory sustainability reporting.
  • Track record as a strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset and outstanding analytical skills to navigate complex challenges.
  • Strong project management abilities, with experience in overseeing intricate, cross-departmental initiatives that require collaboration and coordination.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and experience with sustainability data management and reporting platforms to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a down-to-earth approach, with the ability to engage, inspire, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
