Role
As a Software Developer, you will:
- Continue developing and maintaining the software base for our multi-camera, multi-server system.
- Implement algorithms that meet strict timing and memory requirements by optimizing shared CPU, GPU, and network resources.
- Build new functionality and create automated tests to ensure system reliability.
- Collaborate with the team to continuously improve our real-time system, used live during matches.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who has:
- At least one year of professional experience in C++ development, with strong programming skills.
- A solid understanding of concurrent programming using std::threads and std::mutexes.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, physics, or equivalent experience.
Nice to have
Familiarity with network protocols like UDP and TCP, and experience with video streaming and compression are highly valued. A background in developing real-time systems would also be a significant advantage.
Additionally, knowledge of Visual Studio project and solution management is a bonus, as is experience with vcpkg for handling third-party libraries. If you’re familiar with remote monitoring, software updates, or distribution, we’d love to hear about it!
